Your Profile. Your privacy choices.
QRguitar lets you choose what stays public and what stays private. Public Profiles can appear in the Catalog. Unlisted Profiles work by direct link. Private Profiles are available only to the owner and authorized QRguitar admins.
What a Profile can contain
We collect account information and the instrument details you choose to add so QRguitar can provide Profiles, ownership tools, service history, and support.
Public, Unlisted, and Private
Public Profiles can appear in the Catalog. Unlisted Profiles stay out of the Catalog but work by direct link or QR. Private Profiles are available only to the owner and authorized QRguitar admins.
Serial Number and private files
You can hide the separate Serial Number field on a Public Profile without changing the QRguitar ID or permanent QR. Private notes, private documents, and private supporting files are not shown publicly.
Documents and safety
Files marked public can appear on the Profile. Private files remain restricted. Lost or stolen alerts appear publicly only when set through the authorized safety controls.
Account data
QRguitar uses account email, authentication data, and support messages to provide account access, ownership, service, transfers, safety tools, and support. QRguitar does not sell private user data.
Payments
PayPal processes checkout payment details under its own privacy statement. QRguitar does not receive or store card numbers or Apple Pay tokens. QRguitar keeps the account, order, pack, amount, provider transaction identifiers, payment status, and review history needed to add Profile credits, recover interrupted payments, prevent duplicate fulfillment, and handle refunds or disputes.
Cookies and browser storage
QRguitar uses essential cookies and browser storage for sign-in, session security, authorized previews, app preferences, and drafts or pending work you choose to save. These product features remain available if you deny optional tracking.
Optional analytics and advertising are not currently configured. If either is added later, it will stay off until you choose Accept. Deny will keep it off, and QRguitar will store only your consent choice in your browser.
Optional analytics: events, identifiers and provider details
When optional analytics is enabled and accepted, QRguitar can measure successful public Profile views, registrations, Profile creation, checkout starts, completed credit purchases, and completed ownership transfers using fixed event properties that exclude direct identifiers. Business conversion events also include a stable pseudonymous idempotency token. The Google Analytics adapter sends it as event_id, and also astransaction_id for completed purchases. Google Analytics documents transaction ID deduplication for purchases; its other web events do not provide the same cross-device deduplication guarantee; ordinary Profile page views remain repeatable and carry no such token. QRguitar does not label an ordinary Profile visit as a QR scan. Names, email addresses, serial numbers, raw QRguitar IDs, Profile URLs, transfer tokens, and raw payment IDs are excluded from optional event details.
Google Analytics 4 is not currently configured. Adding it requires both an approved Measurement ID and the analytics purpose; until then it does not load, expand the browser security policy, or create a Google Analytics consent prompt by itself.
Do not upload passwords, payment-card numbers, private reset links, unrelated personal documents, or files you do not have the right to store.
